If the seal is broken on a gallon of milk or a bottle of pain reliever I wouldn't say oh well and go ahead and use it. There is a reason it is broken. In today's world you just can't be too careful. What if some idiot had doctored your powder with some sort of high explosive's? Until the Tylenol scene nobody would have ever thought something like that would have happened. I remember when I was a kid in the late 50's I told the owner of the corner market it looked like someone had put grass in some vinegar bottles. He laughed and said thank you for being such a observant kid but they Tarragon vinegar bottles and the grass was actually the TARRAGON HERBS IN THE BOTTLE. But he told my dad who had worked part time in the store while going back to college to become a teacher how much he appreciated me looking out for his store.I guess from an early age I operated on the principle that one cannot be too careful.
