I reload 9mm & 45acp and have been using hogdon titegroup. I am down to my last drop and with powder had to find I am looking at using something else that I can find. Has anyone used titewad to load 9mm? hogdon give the specs for 45acp but not 9mm. I know its a long shot but I see a lot of titewad around in 1lb containers.
Thanks for any advice from the more experienced loaders

Winchester 231 Accurate #2 #5 there is a lot of powder that will work. If you have a Lyman or lee reloading book you can see what all powder that will work.

Yes they do! Then they say this on another place on their website.

This outstanding propellant designed for 12 gauge only,

They use to have a warning on the label saying it wasn't suitable for loading pistol shells. I don't know if it's still on there or not.

Personally I wouldn't use it for any pistol calibers at all for any reason.

Just about any of the more common pistol powders, just about anything between Bullseye to HS6 or even Longshot on the burn chart.

You could also use either Bullseye or Unique if available. They both do very well in those calibers.

I load 45 acp and 38 spl. with American Select. It's a shotgun powder but it's every bit as good as Bullseye. Alliant has load data for it and 9mm. If you look at Hodgdons burn rate table AS is pretty close and shows up from time to time.

If I had to only worry about powders for 9mm and 45acp, I'd be a pretty happy camper right now. A lot of shotgun powders will do just fine. You may have to look at some older manuals, but Herco, Unique, Green Dot, HP38/231, Accurate's faster powders, as mentioned above, and a number of others are fine, especially for the 45. Blue Dot also for higher power loads is great, although a bit bulky, as are most of the 'shotgun' powders.
