From their web page

SHIPPING: UPS/FedEx Surcharge of $27.50 Per Package on Hazardous Materials. Powder and Primers are Hazardous. FedEx requires a signature on all hazardous material packages. UPS may require a signature when delivering your package. Please make sure someone will be available to sign for your package when delivered.

PVI will not ship via FedEx if you tell them 'no delivery signature required' in the order comments, and they will not tell UPS to collect a signature.

Got mine Tuesday UPS didn't have to sign. One other thing coming from Powder Valley you don't need to worry about the packing.I don't know of anybody that packs as secure as they do.

Well, I discovered that while PV packs their stuff well, Winchester primer packaging isn't that great for shipping. 5k sleeves are secure, but their individual 1k boxes aren't so hot. My last order had about 150 primers rolling around in the box, from the top 4 trays of the 2 loose 1k boxes! A little tape on the 1k boxes, top and bottom, would go a long way. Good thing Win primers are color coded. :) I'm going to try to stick to multiples of 5k in the future. :)

It came and my wife was inside-UPS just left it on front doorstep.
If you saw the Christmas video of the UPS guy, I'm glad I don't have a fence!

I've ordered from a couple vendors and REQUESTED signature since I live a block from a school. Got charged for it but 2 out of 3 times, UPS did not collect the sig - - just drop, hit the doorbell and run. The third time I was in the driveway when they pulled up so I guess the driver decided it might be advisable to get the sig.
