I have a group of four from Kansas City, looking for a place to prairie dog hunt one of the last two week end in August. We would like to find a place to camp out under the stars and have a campfire (safely) in which we would make sure the land was left the way we found it. If you could provide this service for us or know of a place that can, please contact me and send me pricing information. Thank you for your help.

Kansas has Walk in hunting areas statewide. Some are open all year and some have a PD population. Check DNR for the books.

There is a new place near Syracuse KS (right on the CO border) that recently began advertising p-dog hunting. If I can find the name of the outfit I'll post it.

That's right, he beat me to it. They advertise dog shooting up to 1,000 yards (can you see a p-dog that far away?) and say that this may not be the place for you if you can't shoot at least 300 yards. Apparently most of their property is actually in Colorado.
