Pre-64 Win mod 70 in 30-06 / twist?

I just aquired a late 40's Model 70 in 30-06. I am looking to shoot high BC, heavier bullets in it,to 600yds and beyond, to see what it can do. Does anybody know the twist of rifling in these? Thanks-

It would be 1/10.

All 30-06 rifles were 1/10 back then.

It will handle any .30 cal bullet weight commonly available up to 220 grain RN.

You got a cleaning rod in your gun cleaning kit, check it & see what it is. What you do is, from the muzzle, go all the way through put on a patch one that will fit tight, pull it up until you engage the riflings, mark rod, pull out until it makes one full turn, then measure................
