Precision scope mount for a BAR LW Stalker

Just picked up a Burris Euro Diamond that I'll be mounting on a Browning BAR LW Stalker in 308. I want some help with a high end precision mount. I'd like to hear some opinions.

Have two of the aluminum framed BARs. Both carry Leupold detachable QR mounts. One rifle is in '06, the other in .338.............scopes are Bushnell's Elite series. Never had the least problem with the setup and even tho I rarely do so, the QR feature has it's virtues, particularly if you want to 'baby' your glass for shipping, etc.

Dogrunner do you happen to have pictures of your set up? What kind of accuracy are you getting?

you'll have to pick up the scope first, and by the way things look today, that package might get intercepted

No one else has any opinions on a nice base/ring set up?

For the BAR I like Leupold one piece base with extension rings to help move the scope back to get the correct eye relief. I thought about trying a one piece picatiny rail to give more options on scope position but decided to go with the tried and true mounting system.

I have a leupold one piece base, leupold rings and VXIII on a BAR in 30-06. Performance is great. Had the same set-up on a Rem 7400 / 30-06; I robbed the scope to use on a rifle that would better appreciate it! 7400 doesn't shoot well enough to get a scope.
