Can we watch online?

Is there any way to watch this online? I don't have cable, and I would hate to miss it!!

Should be interesting. The first thing that caught my attention is the quality of credentials of the cowboy team in comparison to the 3-Gun team. It's cool that the best cowboy shooters in the world are promoting their sport.

3-gun Vs cowboy

I can't imagine how this could be done so that the stages are equal for both types.

Cowboy is something I have observed, but never even thought of getting involved in. Where 3-gun is something I do like to play. Is accuracy, speed and distances similar in both types of competition?

I know cowboys have no method to speed load their shotguns, and they don't have scary high capacity mags for their pistols (1911) or rifles. So, surely there can be no time comparisons made. This has be nothing more than an exhibition.

What say you?

Iain's skills really impressed me, and everyone else; he may have been the fastest shooter there. But there's always more to the game than speed....

And this is no mere exhibition; this was head-to-head shooting, with competitors of the highest order, who took on this assignment with all seriousness and competitive intent.

We in the shooting sports are fortunate to have such representatives.

I thoroughly enjoyed the episode. A lot of shows have tried to make competitive shooting interesting.. they did a great job.

Plus my brother and I were in frame for the entire Stag Arms promo. ;)

Aww man, I was really hoping the SASS team would be a bunch of fat old mustachioed guys in period dress with nicknames like "Ol' Sassafras", and that they would still perform amazingly well with their SAAs and slicked-up SxS coach guns.

Thank you, all. We are getting RAVE reviews on the new season (and on THE BEST DEFENSE as well)! Believe me, there is nothing as scary as the first show of a new season on which you've spent a fortune of Other People's Money!

There's a reason I don't gamble in places like Vegas!

Again, thank you!

I thought it was well done. End results not all that surprising but a bit closer than I thought they might be.

GREAT Show, Michale B; the best competition show I've seen, refreshingly free of "man-drama", allowing the shooters to showcase their remarkable skills and individual personalitites.

I literally couldn't believe that it was an hour-long show, it was so well-paced. Great stuff. More, please!

We're experimenting, Dr. Rob. My tentative goal is to move to 75% of the show as created events, a la Duel in the Sun. Next week we're doing a travelogue with machine guns...the week after, we throw our crash test dummy, stuntwoman Katie Rowe, into the IDPA Nationals...

Next season, we refine the product again based on ratings...man, it would be a lot easier if I had the budget of CRIMINAL MINDS! LOL!

Haven't seen it yet, but have it recorded for later.

I'm of the opinion that anything that shows guns and guns owners in a good light is good PR. I'd much rather watch something like this than a few other shows that play up to the "Let's act like morons because the execs think it drives ratings".

Thatnks for the effort you're putting into it.
