so ever since i first saw the outlaw josey wales my absolute favorite pistol has been the 1847 walker and ive always wanted one. about a year ago when i first got into black powder i didnt have the cash to buy a walker so i got an 1858 remmy which i love, plus i think it was better to get into black powder with a smaller pistol with the top strap which makes it a little stonger. and since then ive been slowly socking away my pennies to get a walker. i also have been saving my cabelas club points to use towards the walker. and i have about $200 cash in savings and $65 in cabelas points. then today i get a coupon in the mail for cabelas club members with it i can get 70 off a 300-399 purchase and 85 off a 400-499 purchase. so it looks like im finally gonna get me a walker just gotta wait for the boss's approval. so start checking your mailboxes for this cabelas coupon.

I enjoy BP have 3 muzzle loading rifles, 3 1851 Colt Navies, 2 Remington 1858 Navies and oh yes a 1847 Walker.
Two of the 1851's & both Remington’s are consecutive serial numbers.

I just learned that my sons are getting me another Walker for Christmas.
But they are getting me the Uberti Kit from Dixie I cant wait until Christmas LOL.
I feel like a 7 year old again.

I take it the family's chief financial officer has the power to redline the Walker. Take a hint from the black ops in .gov. Secret funding. We did that back in the '80s, 1880s that is. Congress was told that the Navy needed money to rebuild some old Civil War monitors. They took the money and built new monitors and named them after the monitors that were supposed to be rebuilt.
