Funny thing about that, my supervisor asked about that slight bulge under my belt (I wear a SmartCarry at work) and I told him that it was "kinda personal". He accepted that immediately, and I found out later from co-workers that he now thinks I have a colostomy bag He hasn't mentioned a thing about it since.

HoosierQ, how big/tall are you? Have you considered pocket carry? There are some potent small +p capable 9mms out there. I front pocket carry a Kahr PM9 every day in jeans, slacks, or shorts. If you don't do polymer, they make the exact same pistol (MK9) in all steel, but it is heavier. My holster's leather is kind of soft and took a "set" to the gun over time so that if my pants get pulled tight across my thigh, it can look like a gun. To fix that, I just attached a piece of thin plastic I cut from a report binder type thing. Now it just looks like something rectangular like a PDA or a small book. Doesn't hinder drawing at all, either.

If you're round in the middle try a smartcarry, otherwise just dress around the gun. A quality belt and holster make a big difference.
