Ok I want a GP 100 4" in Stainless steel. I need to know what a price is on one new.

also about what is a nice ruger redhawk Stainless 7 1/2" barrel. I am thinking about selling the redhawk and getting a gp 1oo.

thanks everyone!

In Iowa:

I have seen GP-100 4" go for $425 at Sportsman's Warehouse

$275-300 for used

Redhawk $550 new at Sportsman's Warehouse

Used I have seen them on gunbroker same price as new from Iowa dealers. So I have no clue.

humm thanks guys. How far off is the pricing on Rugers website? what about S&W that leads me to think the msrp is nuts. Or is that the pricing some where like Gander mountain (large retail chain) would price their guns at?

Thanks for the quick replys.

yeah the big stores can buy in volume, hence the lower prices. I think the MRSP prices on the website are what you should expect to pay in places like California or Massachusetts.

Just look how reasonable a Remington 870 is at Walmart.

It all depends on where you go. I can say this much with certainty: without exception, all the NIB guns I have picked up have been for at least $100 (more often $150-$175) less than the MSRP listed on the manufacturers' websites (Ruger, Springfield Armory, & Kimber). I haven't priced any S&W wheelguns, but I wouldn't be surprised if the difference between retail price on the website and what I'd end up paying was about the same as with the other guns I've bought.
