Howdy everyone, haven't posted in a while.
I was looking over the used counter and saw a nice looking 2.5" 686. I would guess that it has been shot quite a bit (the chambers definitely looked like it had seen a fair number of .38s). Probably around 85% wear, sights looked good, had some nice looking stocks. Rainbow color wood, smooth, short (couldn't fit the pinky on it). I didn't have a feeler gauge with me but the lock up seemed ok and you couldn't see too much light when I shined my surefire at the cylinder gap looking down the barrel.
Serial number CAY32xx model 686-4. What does that tell me about the quality of this firearm, year of manufacture etc?
Price is $259.99. Is this fair, good or great price?
Thanks in advance!
