I looked at the ad - It says he wants $950 for the gun.

If the gun really is as decribed (500rnds & near perfect) with the orginal box and papers I'd say he's right on the high end of the market price.... Which is a bit high to me.

You'll have to consider that Gold Cup National Matches are not made anymore... and that you can buy the new Gold Cup Trophy's around $980ish NIB (if you can find one local).

Around here used 80 Series Gold Cup National Matches bring between $600-$900 depending on condition.

It comes down to what you want to spend on one and what you intend to do with it. I'll bet he has some room to move on the gun, personally if thats local to you I'd call him up and see how much.

Guess I'm missing something. The listed price on the ad is $950 and the pistol appears to be pretty nice. I think the price may be toward the high side of OK, but not unreasonable. I follow the 70 Series GCNM, and think they might command a bit of a premium over the 80 Series equivalents. I paid $835 and $1000 for mine, the latter being unfired (maybe) with box, etc.
