I was at a local shop today and they have a new in box FN PS90 rifle, one 30 round mag, one 50 round mag, and 4 boxes of ammo for $1850 cash. Most folks on Gunbroker have just the rifle going for a buy it now of $2200 but I'm wondering what they are going for in the real world.

Is $1850 a reasonable price for this at this time?

Considering that was the price for a new full-auto one with a suppressor and the optics, I think that the same price for a semiauto with none of those extras is a little steep. Consider that the Sig 556 retails for 1200 and ask yourself if a blowback operated, pistol caliber carbine is really worth twice that? Its maybe a 1000 dollar gun at most.

Although I appretiate the input I'm not asking for opinions about the pros and cons of the weapons system. I'm asking if at this time, in this market, if the asking price of this rifle I'm looking at is reasonable compared to the same make and model being sold by other people.

Like I said, consider that the full auto version (sans goodies) is half the price and the parts commonality is like 99 percent. There is obviously huge room in the price to come down.
