Price Check on Rem 700 BDL Stainless

Hey guys,
I need a quick price check on a rifle I am looking to buy from my boss.

It is a Remington 700 BDL Stainless barrel with synthetic stock. 7mm Rem Mag.

It comes with a Leupold Vari-XIII or VXII silver scope. Not sure which one.
Extra magazine
4 boxes of ammo.

He has around 20 rifles and he says it has only been shot 4 times. It looks brand new. He thinks it is around 4 years old. He doesn't know for sure since he has so many guns.

How much do you think this package would be worth?

I made a typo in my first post. It should say.. "Vari-Xiii or VX-III."

Any ideas?

Gun Traders Guide says $511 for excellent condition, magnum caliber add $80, detachable mag add $40 so book says $631 for the gun. Ammo, slings, extra mags are gimme's. For the scope, figure half of retail, so $750-775. I'm a cheap bastid and would offer $600.

Thanks freakshow. I was thinking around $750. He said he just spent like $50 a box on the ammo, so that would be a pretty good gimme.
