Price check S&W 27-2

Looking at a Nickel 27-2 8 3/8" barrel three T's in the presentation case has the tools but no docs Nickel looks to be in excellent condition. He is asking $750.00 seems about $50 to $75 high to me but I know prices seem to be rising around here. I thought the long tubes were running less than the other barrel lengths. Opinions please!!

I don't think the price is excessive, but shorter barreled models seem to sell better and for more.

Don't think I'd do without a sixgun I really wanted, in that price range, over a measly $50-$75.
