S & W Model 27-2 Nickel

I was just at the gun store and they had a beautiful Smith & Wesson Model 27-2 for sale. .357 Mag 6" Nickel , and were asking $630 for this nice revolver. Looks in excellent condition, maybe 95 to 98%. I was told it was in a safe for years from an older gentleman that had it. No box or papers.
Just wondering if this is a fair price? I still may need to go back and get before its to late. Thanks , any feedback would be helpful.

Good price.

Model 27s have been progressively going up for the last 10 years now.

Something similar around here would start at about 800 bucks.

Here's one I picked up earlier this year . . . and was quite happy to spend less than $750 for it. They ain't making those gorgeous things anymore.

That is a beautiful revolver, i went back and bought the gun before anybody else snatched it up. Im real happy with it.
