anyone...

How does the current production 63 stack up against the air weight 317? Am I better off with the all steel model or is the air weight just as good?

Rev, just my opinion. I'd look for an older used 63. Even if you paid the $$ you're talking, you'll be happy. You can't beat the little 63.

$610 - $690 is what I see out on the net, but you will pay FFL fees, possibly both ends, so your price might be on the higher end of internet sales. Would not hurt if it were $50 or $25 less.

I have an old 63 coming via Kentucky soon, so no real opinion here - seems the old decent ones are pushing the same price range you are in.

This is what I have been seeing as well... $675 doesn't seem to be out of bounds, but I think I will push for $675 OTD rather than $675 +BC and taxes.

I think I am sticking with the 63 rather than the 317 knowing that I will be able to pass on a quality .22 to my daughter (who will be arriving in 3 months) if she takes an interest to her mom's and dad's pastime.

Thanks for the reply... others are welcome!

If second-hand the price would be about $100 to high for me to "bite". Truly NIB specimen should cost $676.80.
