Price Check SW 1911SC.

Please forgive my lack of 1911 and SW knowledge.
A local store has a SW 1911Sc commander size, stainless finish listed as on sale for $751. Is this a good price for this pistol?
I can't seem to find the Commander size pistols on the SW website, are they being discontinued?
My birthday is coming up soon and I was considering putting this on layaway as I still don't have a 1911.
