Today's news from Albany, NY brought the following information. Apparently, the pro-2A rally of law-abiding NY firearms owners on Feb. 28 as they peaceably assembled to convey grievances to the NY Legislature caused an estimated $60,000 in damages to the lawn outside the Legislature building. So says the Office of General Services. An estimated $30,000 in materials and like sum in labor.
Since the same Legislature allocated $27.78 Million for a new database to consolidate all pistol licensee records in NY, I would suggest they take it from there. Consider it a down payment on malicious legislation.
