I have run across one for sale, but I've never been interested in them until now. P'raps the advent of the CX4 Storm has something to do with it. Anyway....

It's a plain vanilla 92FS, a few minor dings, nothing major that I can see is wrong with it. Standard sights. The finish is a little, oh, faded I calls it. It has one 15-shot mag marked Made in Italy. No box, no papers.

Reckon what a good price is?

Tell him youll have to have 50$ to take the gun..and he has to supply the ammo for the first year. Ok...sorry, in one of those moods :scrutiny:

300-350$ is fair...if the dings are prominent..go for the 300$.

Shoot well

$350-ish sounds good. I looked at a good one in a pawn shop that came with two ten rounders and one fifteen for $425. If the finish on it hadn't been so good I'd have kept walking.

Beretta 92/96's are THE best bargins around. For a used 92 look for a price around $350-$375.

Just sold a 92fs to dealer at gunshow for $400, with 3 factory pre-bans. It was in excellent condition.

Skunkie, how do I check, and what difference do it make? I know the mag is marked Made in Italy.

Hutch if it's made in Italy or the USA it'll say on the left side of the slide. Some people seem to prefer the made in Italy ones. I personally don't prefer one over the other.

I second what c00l9mm says....

BTW AFAIK all mags are made in Italy. Should be marked PB PARA CAL 9 or something like that.

The newest ones have plastic guide rods and some other plastic parts that people don't like, but I'm indifferent.

The thing's going to EL to get those junk parts replaced anyway :D
