Primary Arms SLx 3X vs their MicroPrism version?

For a difference of $30, I'm trying to figure out why anyone would still buy the bigger version when the Micro prism is available. Is there a difference in eye relief? Glass quality?

Haven't messed w the 3X.

Bud had the 5X, said he should got the 3X.

I had a 1X Micro and for a red dot replacment (esp if one has astigmatism) it filled that role fine.
But for hunting or stuff over 100 yds I'd like to try a 3X

If real estate atop your rig is limited, and weight a consideration,
a prism might be preferable over a LPVO.

I have no idea. The micro is better in every way, especially weight. The older tech prisms are way too heavy for what they do.
