Found some primed rifle brass in a box of stuff after I sold the rifle. Before I list it for sale, is it OK to just ship in a plain jane UPS box or does it need hazmat or the ORM-D on it?

ORM-D, not hazmat, just like loaded ammunition.

Which means you (without a HazMat cert and contract) can ship it, but it's a royal PITA to find a carrier who knows their own rules well enough to know that.

Anti-gunners just love to find intentional violations of law by gun nuts like us. It gives them ammo (pun intended) to come after us.

I don’t advocate breaking the law, but if you think anti gun types need a reason to come after us, you are living in fantasy land. We need to get it through our heads that they hate us. They cannot be reasoned with. There is no compromise.

I've shipped plenty and use usps.

Ormd sticker you can print online and it says small Arms ammunition on the orm sticker.

Depending on amount going out we pay a bit and have it picked up at house. No issues at all.

Of course that’s not what I think but if you think breaking the law isn’t added incentive and evidence for them to use then you’re living in the same land in apartment next door to me.
