Primer Pocket-same size Small Rifle & Pistol

This has got to be an old one and an easy one. I bought some reamers (RCBS and Hornady) to remove military crimp from some 223. It is the RCBS pocket reamer that you can put on their all purpose chamfer machine or you can chuck into a drill. I also have the Lyman hand primer pocket reamer for small pistol (9mm.)

Are the primer pockets the same size for the 223 and 9mm? So I can use these on both?

Yes for Small Primers. Rifle is slightly longer in the large size vs pistol.

Same size. Some people use Rem 61/2 SRP for HOT .357 Mag.
