Don't know if you guys have seen that Powder Valley is bringing the primer special back on Tula. It makes the primers crazy cheap. I tried some when they had their last special and have noticed no difference between them and my Winchesters.

Sold out of 7.62mm NATO type primers. Has anyone tried regular Large Rifle in a military rifle? I currently run CCI #34 and #41 for safety's sake and wanted to stick with 'hard' primer cups.

Wolf/Tula are a hard cup. I haven't used em in a Military rifle so can't speak to that but, I use em my Marlin 336c 35 remington with no issues. I do use the Tula 223 ones for my AR.

Tula primers have worked flawless for me sm & lg, pistol and rifle they seem to be brass cup so your firing pin dose not have to hit as hard i understand winchester has gone the same route and at a gun show in SF primers were $16.00 per 1000 and yes bought all i could carry

SilentVector X,

You can use regular primers in your military rifles all day long if they are Remington 7 1/2 (small) or 9 1/2(large)

The Remington "standard" primers are full MilSpec, just like the CCI #34 and #41.
