On way to great-grandsons 1st birthday we stopped at a few gun stores. Low and behold, found 1000 federal LP primers at one small out of way one and 600 federal LP match primers at another. Powder was not so good, but have enough of that hopefully. Now can reload a little more ammo. trikerider

The 1000 were $34, but had to pay a fee for debit card and sales tax. The 600 match were $3.79/100 plus sales tax. trikerider

I guess it goes without saying, but when the frenzy finishes, put in an order for five or 10,000, right?

If you get into the reloading mindset with these speed bumps and all that happen along the way you want to think of stocking two years supply ahead of what you anticipate on using. This will insulate you on any of this madness as well as be a hedge on the inevitable cost increase on all raw materials. When I see a sale on something I can easily use up I buy whatever amount I can afford at the time then and smile later it seems. I feel bad for the new firearms owners that can't even buy ammo to practice with even if they are willing to pay todays relatively high prices.:(

Found Primers? Sheeoot, I opened a drawer the other day and found a stash of 1K LRP and
2K SRP primers. Sure was a nice surprise. Means I have all these plus 2 50cal ammo cans full to go through yet.

Went up to PA. this weekend to see the kids. Stopped in the gun shop I use to go to. Picked up a brick of Federal sp primers for $37. and a pound of H335 powder. Walked out pretty happy. :D
