I ran into a potentially dangerous situation today that I thought warranted mentioning to other shooters. I've been carrying my Kel-Tec P32 for years, love the little gun, been carrying with Winchester Silvertips and practice with Winchester White Box. Well, eventually I ran out of Silvertips and the range turned me on to Fiocchi Semi Jacket Hollow Points. They work great, they feel a bit hotter than the Winchester stuff, is my new carry ammo until...
I was at the range today, I chambered a round, decided I was going to switch guns for a little while and tried to clear the gun. I discovered that the hollow point tip of the Fiocchi round sticks out a hair farther than the Winchester I'm used to and wouldn't clear the ejection port ( if there is such a thing on the Kel-Tec). Extractor pulls it out and tries to toss it out the side but the tip hits and it just sits in there and jams up. I had to pull the mag and let it drop out the bottom.
This little gun is my everyday carry gun (save the "you need a bigger gun" bashing for later) and I'm sure there are others out there with P32's in their pocket as well (or as BUG's). You all need to know that if you get a misfire in an emergency situation with this gun/ammo combo, you're in trouble.
Not bashing the Kel-Tec, I love it, I trust it, it's with me every day. Not bashing the Fiocchi, the stuff's great, I shoot lots of it but...put the two together and you may have a problem.
Side note: I've shot hundreds of rounds of Fiocchi in my Kel-Tec without ever having a problem, fires and ejects perfectly. Reminder, this was when trying to eject an unfired round.

There are any number of other guns that do the same thing.

Even the venerable Colt 1911 will hang loaded rounds in the ejection port if the slide is not yanked back vigorously.

The solution is to just fiddle with it until it falls out the through mag well. Or, modify the ejection port with a hand grinder.

I might caution you that depending on short rounds like the Silver-Tips to get them to eject loaded rounds can subject the P32 to a dangerous condition known as Rim-Lock.

Rim-Lock can occur when the semi-rimmed .32 ACP case slips foreward in the magazine and catches firmly in the extractor groove of the next round in the magazine.
See this about that:

Kel-Tec makes a Rim-Lock kit for the P32 if you want to use shorter then normal JHP ammo.

Or, you can modify your mag using a homemade "Flyer Wire" mag spacer.

RC is right. 1911s do this too with rounds when you don't give the slide enough gusto when clearing it. My P3AT does it too when I don't pull it back with much force....which you HAVE to do on a P3AT i found out! Man, for a tiny gun, the P3AT is a pain to cycle by hand.....I would think those with not much hand strength or a small woman might have a hard time being safe with the little KTs.
