Kel-Tec P-32 + Factory Ammo + Chrono

I was at the range today and got a chance to do a lot of Chrono work.
I fires 4 different .32 Auto rounds through my Kel-Tec P-32 which has a 2.7" barrel.

Here are the numbers:
Fiocchi 60gr SJHP (Fiocchi claims 1200 fps)
Av = 942.3 fps
H = 959.3 fps
L = 923.4 fps
ES = 35.9 fps
SD = 13.9 fps
AD = 10.9 fps

Fiocchi 73gr FMJ (Fiocchi claims 980 fps)
Av = 741.5 fps
H = 804.3 fps
L = 689.5 fps
ES = 114.8 fps
SD = 47.0 fps
AD = 38.8 fps

CorBon 60gr JHP (CorBon claims 1050 fps)
Av = 969.2 fps
H = 982.5 fps
L = 948.1 fps
ES = 34.4 fps
SD = 15.4 fps
AD = 12.8 fps

Winchester 60gr Silvertip HP (Winchester claims 970 fps)
Av = 762.3 fps
H = 779.0 fps
L = 754.0 fps
ES = 25.0 fps
SD = 10.0 fps
AD = 6.9 fps

I hope someone finds this data useful. It looks like CorBon is very fast but from other tests posted on this forum, it does not expand. I will continue to carry Fiocchi 60gr SJHP rounds. I was very disappointed with the Winchester rounds and will no longer carry them in a 2.7" barrel pistol. This is disappointing, especially since I have 3 boxes of 50 on hand.

yep Arch I've been touting the Fiocchi SJHP for a while though the cor-bon is better than I expected.Speer Golddots are aenemic like WW.BTW my seecamp is about 50 FPS faster that or maybe its my chrono who knows

Thanks for the info. It appears that you may have a slow p32 as your readings are somewhat slower, especially the fiocchi fmj. We chronied some fiocchi fmj (older mfg.) and got a little over 850 as I recall. I know the w/w is a wimpy round. We also got over 1,000 fps from the corbon. Your readings for the fiocchi 60gr. are on the money, but don't expect it to expand.

I'm using a PACT Model 1 XP and I was a little surprised the Fiocchi FMJ came out like that. It was late when I did this test today and I had trouble getting 5 rounds to register. (I was losing light) I did over 2 hours of tests on all different handloads I made up before I finished up the the .32 Auto ammo.

I'll retest all 4 and maybe so others if I get a hold of anything sometime soon.
