I'm hoping I can get more help here than on another forum. I just bought a Bersa THunder 380CC for my wife. It seemed like the perfect blend of size, weight and features. One of the things I like the best for her was the decocker, giving her the advantage of 9 rounds and the heavy trigger pull of a double action.
However, after getting the gun home, I found that the decocker does not work properly. When I push the lever down, it does not decock. If I push it down a second time, it will decock. Or, on the first time, if I leave it down and take a small screw driver and pry the lever just a bit away from the frame, it will decock. Can anyone help? It sounds like they have pretty good customer service and a great warranty, but I'd sure hate to ship off a new gun if I could make a simple fix myself.
Any help will be much appreciated.
