My son has a Sig Mosquito, and the decocker does not work . You can push down on the decocking lever and nothing happens, trigger stays cocked, pull the trigger and nothing happens. Suggestions? Thank you

I heard bug spray is good for mosquito issues. Just kidding. Had to.

You definitely should have Sig fix it. Get in contact with them.

I've read that mosquitos can be quite problematic.....and can carry malaria and west Nile virus.

Send it to sig or a gunsmith. I guess the Mosquitos are pretty hit or miss when it comes to function.

Short term fix: Get it fixed as recommended by Sig or gunsmith
Long term fix: Sell it and use funds for a Ruger SR22.

Remove the slide. Then remove the left side grip panel. Now using a small screwdriver or similar tool push the stainless steel looking flat bar forward. This is below the slide release, inside the gun. Just ride the hammer forward with your thumb. From here reinsert the mag and squeeze the trigger to see if the connector is operational. If so, try the decocker again to see if it is functional. Or as others have suggested, just send it back to Sig for them to fix
