I picked up a ACE ARFX stock for my DPMS lower. I am waiting on the 50 cal Bothica upper to complete it.
Got the stock first and the couple weeks ago got the lower. Thought i would put the stock on the lower.
Everything went great until i went to put the butt pad on. The instructions say to remove the 1/4-28x1/2 flat head bolt and replace it with a 1/4-28x7/8 socket cap bolt through the butt pad and into the stock
The 7/8 socket head bolt included was a 10-32 screw, as it fit into the lower butt pad hole, which uses a 10-32 screw.
I checked my nuts ands bolts and i found a 1/4-30 socket head bolt, but it is just a bit big and i don't want to damage the threads.
I called the company and told them about wrong bolt and they told me they would send me the right one.
Well got the new bolt yesterday and guess what they sent another two 10-32x7/8 bolts!!!!!!!!!!
I stopped into lowes today, but they didn't have the right size.
Will call ACE again and tell them to send me the right bolt this time.
