Problem with Novak rear sight

I need help I replaced original Kimber sights by Novak’s sights. I have find out very small free gap between rear sight and seating face of the slide. End of bottom square flat of the sight doesn’t seat fully on flat top of the slide. I don’t know what is wrong.

Why don't you contact Novacks and have them help you. If your sight is too small for the dovetail I think you migh of gotten the wrong one for your gun.

As long as the Novak is properly seated into the silde dovetail, a small space is normal.
Asthetics aside, there is nothing harmful about this.

Thank you very much for all advices.

I have solved problem and Novak’s just sitting properly. I had to little tuned bottom part of sight and now it seats perfect. Thanks to P500 I was able to move sight off and on. Small diamond file helped me much. I understand that is was cosmetic problem only. However now it ´s everything OK. No gap at all. Now I have to visit shooting range to zeroize sights and Loctite tem. And again thank guys very much for help. Other problem is I am not able to send gun or slide to Novak’s I am living in Czech Republic and to wait for export and transport license would probably kill me. And to wait app. 3 or 4 month for gun it’s very long time for me. For this majority of gun tuning I am doing myself.
