Hi there!
I got a major problem here. Was looking at my 452 with a 3-9x scope and Warne 7.3/.22 Medium Matte rings. The reticle wasn't properly square, so i got the torx key and begun to release foward ring. As the ring loosened, the scope sat all way back.... uh?
How come the rear ring was loose? One of the screw of these rings was broken: head separated from bolt threaded body.

Oh hell!! And now? These are not metric screws. And are far uncommon here!!
I tried to take some measurements for a Re-drill and tap in Metric M4 Screws. COULD be done, but M4 screws have a far larger head than the tiny torx Warne use in those rings, and they would pop outside the screw head slot, looking very bad, leaving very little metal to work, etc...

So i guess i need replacements. I have already sent a Mail to warne, but living in Italy i guess i'll have a tough time getting some spares.
Midway Italy has a nice choice of replacement screws, but for starters, could you please tell me what size are those screws? Caliper says these have a 0.135 thread outer diameter...

Thanks!

I know this isn't the answer to your question, but I tried using the Warne 7.3/22 rings on my CZ 452, and couldn't get a good fit on the rails of the receiver. I reversed the sides according to the instructions, but it still was not a good fit. I replaced them with the Burris Signature rimfire rings, and have been happy since.

Thanks for the input,
But on my CZ 452 Varmint with 11mm Dovetail fits perfectly; now i switched to some lousy rings that came with the scope... they are working but the Warne's are way better in looks and fit.

Still got no response from warne :( This is plenty irritating, i can't throw those rings away just because of a tiny screw... if i know what sizes they are, i can purchase some, even if pricey...

I got response from mr. Langford, Warne's technical issues manager.
Asked for my Address, then he told me that they had send some spares FOR FREE, and OVERSEAS - No questions asked!!

So BIG THANKS and RESPECT for Warne and their customer support even for products like their rimfire rings, that are very well made but surely aren't expensive products!!

Now, he told me that sent by postal air service... anyone knows and estimate of time for such a mail, from the U.S. to an European Country??

Thanks everyone!
