I love my Dillon 550. I loaded 200 rounds of 9mm and 1,229 rounds of 223. I load the 9mm on my Lee classic turret and the 223 on my 550. I actually love both presses but the 550 sure makes quick work of 1,200 rounds.

I'm not sure how the Lee could possibly be more efficient than the Dillon for 9mm, but since I don't have a classic turret, I don't have much of a leg to stand on. I will say that while the 550 cranks through 9mm fairly well, I do best with 45 acp on it.

Never said the classic turret was more efficient than the 550. Sometimes when you only want to load 200 rounds it's not worth changing over the 550. I can load the 200 on the Lee turret in an hour. I am working on building a large wind chime and the reloading is fill in work while paint is drying. I loaded another 300 today.

Indeed it was....I loaded several hundred .45ACP on my 650 press. It was the last of a box of Berry's plated bullets and wanted to finish up with the .45ACP before sticking the 9mm head on and swapping over the primer system.:)

First time I have done this. I got all set up to load 357 mag. Got the powder measure adjusted and everything else ready to go. Went to get the bullets out and I don't have any more, well now I know what to add to the order list.
