On the barrel of my Colt1911 Ace .22lr are three marks stamped (see picture). The gun is from about 1980 and I bought it in the Netherlands. Does anyone know what these marks mean? The mark of the springing grenade at the bottom is also stamped in the floating chambre, the slide and the cast.

Thanks,
Sam

The Belgian route was correct!

I found the website http://www.shotguns.se/html/belgium.html and this indicates that the marks mean:

Springing Grenade: Applied to all gun not made in Belgium but proofed in Belgium.
F with star: Stamped by weapon inspector Joseph Scholtissen after 1974.
t underlined: Year 1981.
