Proper Cleaning for Corrosive Rifle?

Okay so what's your point? We were discussing Simo and the Winter War and ammunition he likely used.
 
I can help; when I am shooting any of my Soviet Bloc ammo I give the chamber and barrel a blast of WD-40 when I am not going to clean the weapon immediately. I have been doing this for over ten years without any sign of corrosion. You do not need to neutralize the salts, you want to remove them which most any cleaner/solvent will do. This discussion is about as beneficial as discussing motorcycle tires on a motorcycle forum. Everyone is an expert that will inform you that your experiences with "A" cannot be......

Thanks, there seem to be many ways to not have corrosive ammo be a rust problem.
