Anyone got a good resource for discussions on proper shooting stance / grip....? I'd like to do some reading on the subject. Also, a good DVD may be good info as well.
Thanks!

If you shooting in self defense any stance and grip that hitting BG I would say is proper. Good stance and grip fine on range, but in for real you best not be standing still. Better be moving. Paper targets don't shoot back BG just might.

Gunsite makes a lot of good videos and books that will more than cover the topic. I highly recommend Col Cooper's book "the modern technique."

I was thinking about this today, on my third trip to the range. I was also wondering if I could hit the target with the gun in my left hand, and did, at 6 yards. Beretta 21a, .22LR

Mas Ayoob's books are well illustrated and show different stances and their variations. "Stressfire" is a classic on the subject.

With the modern technique, the stationary stances are just the foundation blocks. Once you have them down, you can use them while moving, clearing rooms etc.
