Does anybody know the proper number and locations of S/N and "crown" markings on Swedish M/38 Mausers? I just acquired a nice 1896 and have my sights set on an M/38 (Husqvarna), but I have seen some differences between rifles and can't seem to find any listing of proper markings and locations by searching the internet. Are they the same as the 1896; bands, floorplate, boltx2, receiver, barrel, rear sight, buttplate, and bolt release? Or did they cut down on the number of stamps? Thanks, Mike
