Happy that our Air Force granddaughter just qualified Expert with an M-16 again, at 50 yards(?) Her Dad and I cooperated in training her for hunting and she shot a deer with my 6mm Remington 700, long-before she entered the military. More than 10 years ago, she shot my steel Deer Silhouette in the 4" circle twice at about 200 yards, (only about 1 1/2"apart), standing-leaning off the back of my truck's hard-cover. She also qualified with the .45 ACP handgun. Both her Dad and I taught her how to shoot and she was quite steady, even in her pre-teen years. She never shot regularly, like kids in a league, but she was quite good when we had her shooting here with my .22 semi-auto handgun and rifle. Picher

Congrats. You have every right to be proud. Felt the same way when my son qualified Expert in both rifle and pistol during Marine training, the latter as part of his MP training.
