Proud new owner of Walther PDP...(excuse the gloat) and Q4 opinions?

This is my first Walther firearm, and I am in love with the new PDP with 5" barrel. What an awesome shooter! I actually traded in my beloved H&K Vp9 for it, and won't ever look back. The trigger is absolutely perfect.

I am now considering a Q4 for match shooting. Anyone else have any advice on this model?

Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the Walther club. I have 2 PPQ M2’s (9MM Navy and .40) and love their performance. Considered the PDP but I have too many 9MM’s already…lol

Thanks everyone. Shot the new gun over the weekend and it puts a really big, stupid looking smile on my face with each trigger pull. Truly a magnificent gun. Will likely be purchasing more in the future.

Are you talking about the Q4 SF for competition? If so, take a look at the Q5 SF. The Q4SF is the same weight but is a shorter gun and feels much heavier. I had a Q4SF and while it was a fantastic shooter it just felt too heavy. The Q5SF is much easier to manhandle.

I’ve been eyeing the 4 inch as a carry option. Glad to hear positive feedback on PDP.
