Does anybody make a kit to fix the magazine to the gun, to make it not detachable? I've heard of people doing this with the FAL and the PRT. But I can't find a kit online. Anybody have any links?

Thanks

Don't think it would be possible.

Well, it would be possible, but no-way to load it.

It's not like other rifles where there is an upper and lower reciever, where you can substitute the upper with one that allows loading by stripper clips.

This may be stupid to some people, but I always figured there would be an easier way to load rounds into a fixed mag rifle: through the floor plate on the mag.

There is some real smart dudes around here, someone could think of a way to hinge it and retract the mag spring for loading.

I found the answer to my question. You get rid of the mag catch spring and replace it with a sleve. This makes it compliant with Cat III Cali AW. To detach the mag you would have to take apart almost the entire rifle. You could not use a stripper clip, you would have to load it one by one. Which is cool with me.
