Hello all---can't decide on build #2

I have heard palmetto took some flak about possibly using carbine length gas systems on the middie's, any truth to this??

Also having problems deciding between the CHF "FN' barrel and the CMV "wilson" barrel---this is the hard part for me to decide since I like the idea of buying the "FN" barrel BUT if I go with the "wilson" barrel i will have enough cash left over to buy the BCG with it!

Lastly Since FN makes the m4 carbine profile for the military will it be best to get the carbine profile over the mid-length??

Thanks
Jim

Apparently they shipped some midlength uppers with carbine gas tubes, which simply does not work. I'm sure it's fixed by now.

Midlength setups give you more handguard, more sight radius, and somewhat softer operation. I strongly prefer them. But both setups work.

FN does NOT make anything M4 for the US military, Colt still has that contract. FN does make the M16s on contract. FN quality is great but there is no reason to try and pick something they also make for the military, they know what they're doing regardless.

You might want to call PSA and check on stock and shipping times before you order.
