PSA MOE Lower Build kit

1. Can I do better than this, price-wise, if I want Magpul stuff?
2. Does anyone know what buffer this comes with? (H, etc?)

I've pretty much gathered that Palmetto's LPK is good-to-go.

(Santa brought me a stripped JD Machine lower for christmas. )

I've built 2 from lowers from PSA. My first ones ever. First was a lower with there classic LPK and the other was with one of the rifle kits they offer. Both lowers run great with the 5.56 upper. Kind of fun to put together. Good luck.

Ah, I see. Wow, I save about $35.00 if I choose to go with the milspec grip and stock.

The grip/stock is all a matter of preference. I personally prefer the MOE grip to the stock A2 grip, but I prefer the M4 stock to the MOE stock.

If you're going for the least expensive option, you'll do just fine with the PSA classic setup.

I priced it out and I figured that the PSA lower build kits are a better deal than me buying the parts individually from the cheapest online sources. I was looking at the one with the CTR stock though, not the MOE one.

Honestly, Hacker, I'm with you on the MOE grip. Much more comfortable IMO, I'm kindof either/or on the stock, though.

I just completed a PSA Lower build with exactly what you are looking (or maybe already have) to buy. I did shop around and at the time they had the best price. very impressed with the quality of their parts kit. Their buffer is a standard carbine buffer as someone else mentioned, you can purchase a heavy buffer but it is a extra. Generally they are fairly quick shipping (5-7) days. Their lowers go on sale for $50 bucks every few months....

Just got my kit yesterday. About a week or so from the time I ordered it. Came via UPS ground.

VERY solid packaging, and everything looks to be in order. MAN, those magpul products (MOE grip, trigger guard, stock) are slick! I chose Flat Dark Earth, and I think it looks very low-key and durable.

Now it's on to the assembly process. Might do most of it tonight, if I get a free moment or two.

OH, and best of all, my 5 year old asked to pick up the hastily assembled grip/stripped lower, and stock/buffer tube.

I adjusted the stock all the way down for her, and her 6 year old sister, and they both were stoked that "Daddy's" gun fit them, too. I can foresee some awesome memories and range-time in our future.
