I'm glad you're happy with it. I have its cousin, the 24/7 Pro C .45 and I've been very happy with it also. It needed a very thorough cleaning prior to the first range trip but it's eaten everything I've fed it so far.

I have a 24/7 Pro DS 40 I've shot FMJ,JHP,and lead bullets with no FTF or FTE issues. I like the pistol and have a duty type holster but I need to find a CCW type for it.

I carry my Pro C .45 in a Crossbreed Supertuck. I've ridden 6 hours in the car while wearing it, no discomfort.

I had a PT 24/7 Pro Comp 9mm that gave me absolutely no problems. I did end up trading it for another gun I had been wanting for a long time. I'd heard a lot of bad reports about that particular model, but you couldn't prove it by me. Not a single jam the whole time I owned it. And I fired it a lot.

First of all, welcome to THR.

The pictures show an old 24/7 model with ribbed grips. You mentioned that it was a Pro DS, right. The safety doesn't seem to have a decocker on Pro DS models.

My Pro C DS has a decocker, it's at the very top (overtravel) of the safety but it's easy to miss.

Oh, OK. Sorry about that.

I'm glad that you like your gun. I really feel more comfortable having a decocker on a strkier fired pistol rather than carrying it cocked. Nice piece!!

That's nice to here,Blackponycar00.

I'm glad that the .40 version is working out for you.

I like the 9x19 models, but I understand the .40 S&W is an excellent cartridge,too. :)

Thanks for looking. As far as the Ribber grips go.... The "C's" still have 'em. They discontined them on the other models. At least that's my understanding.

Now I just need to get my CC permit, then good to go.
