taurus, its a 1911, very easy to work on or get parts for.

i LOVE my PT1911, i carry it almost daily. ive got about 4Krnds through it without ONE single issue. i can't leave things be so im going to have a trigger job done on it as well as change out the orignal hammer and sear to a wilson combat combo for looks ONLY.

Have you shot any of these yet? The thing that cought my attention of the three you've listed is that they all differ significantly in the size of the grip. I like the CZ 97 (I have a P-01), but it was way to big for my paws. Similarly, the SIG P220 I found a bit too thick in the grip for my taste. I have 1911's and keep them because the slimmer single stack grip is just about perfect.

If you have big enough hands for it, then another I would suggest is an FNP-45. I had one for awhile, but traded it as it too was just too big for my hands (I could shoot it fairly well, but it was never really comfortable in my hands).

Just saying to be very sure that whatever you pick is a good fit for you and your grip. Merely handling in a store is not as informative as you might think either - you really need to shoot them to know who comfortable you'll be handling them.

Yes, I certainly have shot a good number of revolvers, preferring the meatier grip, couple autos, one was a 1911 style 10mm, it was nice, I recall the shells popping over my head alot lol... and an old beretta 92 sure felt nice, but then again it had pachmeyer grips...
one things for sure, I'm not loving the dao, is it wrong of me? hehe
