I fired my new PTR 91 today. I put 220 rounds through it. I tested many types of ammo to see what worked and what wouldn't work.Also many different Magazines. First I ran a magazine of IG Yugoslavian surplus ,I got FTE 3 times.It would fire but not eject. Next I changed to Brown bear FMJ, no problem , worked awesome, then I changed to Remington, no problem,then silver bear soft point ,no problem, then Wolf FMJ , no problem, then Federal, no problem. I lastly tried the IG surplus again to see if after a short break in it would work again, no deal, it was back to FTE. I had ran a patch through a handful of times during this process. Everything I tested worked well,accuracy was amazing. Recoil with the collapsible stock was very minimal, I was very surprised at that. The only shortcoming was it refused to cycle with the IG surplus. I was impressed with the way it chucked rounds about 50 feet to the right and a touch forward. It is a solid ,very accurate,fun rifle.
