Hey Guys:

I've got a couple hundred rounds of Radway Green 5.56 that don't cycle the action in any of my rifles - surplus from the early 90's. Rather than sell it, I decided to pull the bullets and reload the cases. Couple of questions:

1. Do I need to do a neck resize after pulling the bullet?
2. Should I make an attempt at swabbing out the inside of the case after dumping the powder?
3. Should I just sell this stuff to a guy with a bolt action :)

Thanks for your help. I'm sort of new at reloading but almost find it more fun than shooting now...

1. Yes. 2. All powder must be out of case before reloading or sizing neck. Remove decapping pin. 3. You can always sell factory ammo.

Bagaman,

If the bullets were seated with a sealer you will have problems pulling the bullets. If you run them through a seating die that just moves the bullet this will break the seal and make them much easier to pull. I've been there and have had to do that.
