I found 52gr. of H4831 to be the sweet spot for my .270 win. load and was wondering, if I could use my Hornady collet type puller pull the bullets reduce the charge to 52gr. and just re seat. Or, will I have to de prime and re size again for proper neck tension? Thanks! :)

For a bolt-action, you should be OK to just pull, recharge, and reseat.

Or, error on the safe side and take the decapping pin out, then back off the sizing die just enough to neck size them again.

I'd do what RC suggests -- remove the decapping pin and resize the necks for consistent tension.

Pull the bullets from what? You working up the load and decide to stop at 52? You using 150'sor 160's? Not that it really matters, except that 52.0 is too low for most other weights. Too high for 180's.
Either way you'll have to neck size at least. Pulling will expand the case neck enough to make neck tension unreliable. As mentioned, just take out the decapping pin.

I'm using Hornady SST 150gr. and over 52grs. of H4831, I got my best 5 shot groupings at 100 yds. .25"-.75" when I do my part from bench, with my Tikka t3 Deluxe. Thanks folks! :)
