In all the searching I've done, I've gotten nothing. I understand that when Puma transitioned to Rossi, the serial number records were just... LOST? If that's the case, well then that's that. But I had to give it a shot here. Anyone know of any resources? Mine is a .44mag Mod 92, 92M1298xx.

I sure never heard of any.

As a general rule, if nobody collects them?
Nobody else did the research, and wrote the books, and maintained the data.

And I never met a single Puma or Rossi collector in my life.

Figured. No not collect, it would just be nice to know when it was made.

If it dosn't have that fuggly saftey on the bolt, then it dates to at least the late '90's or before.
