That looks like a beautiful Mak!!!! Enjoy. Now get to work trying to wear it out!

I have a feeling this old gun will outlast me! I take good care of all my guns (and guitars and amps), and I can't think of any reason why my small collection won't be viable 150 years from now.

And that's how it should be. Steel, wood and iron wins out...until they inevitably lose the battle to water and rust. ;)

I carry my commercial Russian 9 mak with adjustable sights. Its my favorite , slim and rugged. I always carry an extra loaded mag in my pocket, gives me 16 rd total on any given time.
But for out of town travels, the G23 gets to be my carry. So again, the Mak goes about 95 percent of my daily carry. Congrats on a nice EG collectable.

Nice Mak, I just "gave away" a 1960 E German Mak, had C.A.I import markings and about 80% finish for $225, on a trade for something I wanted more, I liked the E German, but I still have a Bulgarian Mak that love, I put alot of work into it and its a regular carry gun for me, 100% reliable and incredibly accurate....
