I saw on the Beretta website that they make the Px4 Compact in a G model which is SA/DA with a De-cocker only...no safety.

Anybody have one of these? Regardless of the model, how does the Px4 Compact impress people? Seems kinda fat and clunky but I am not worried about that...either it's thickness or its looks.

Good weapons or no?

Never shot one, but held one a few times. It felt like a quality handgun. The ergonomics were good for my hand (medium-smallish) except that the truncated grip was JUST on the edge of comfortable for me. I couldn't quite locate my pinky in a place that made me comfortable. But you might, so try it before making a decision. It is a double stack magazine, so it's thick-ish. I like the looks of it a lot. I like the Beretta slope on the back of the slide, and the basic modernity of the grip shape design. I prefer the subcompact over the full-size from a purely aesthetic standpoint. It looks like a MINI Cooper in proportion. It's not what I ended up buying, but I still kind of look at it longingly.
